      wester My favorite news is uk flooded Many have had to leave their homes and hundreds have suffered power cuts.

      Patients at a hospice in Cumbria had to be evacuated when a nearby stream burst its banks, flooding bedrooms and offices.
      The worst affected areas were Tayside, south-west England, and East Anglia. But more wet weather is expected on the weekend.
